I was born and raised in nearby Sedalia, Mo. During my college years I attended SFCC in Sedalia, College of the Ozarks in Branson, and University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. I have a Bachelors Degree in History with a Minor in Studio Art from C of O, and recently finished a Masters Degree in Teaching from UCM. My interests and hobbies are painting, fitness, traveling, reading, and swimming, and duck raising. Some of my proud moments are finishing a Triathlon during the summer of 2010 and being a successful teacher. My current goals are to save money for a trip to Europe and create my first official painting series. My biggest teaching goal is to build an advanced art program for the Sweet Springs High School and to develop an online viewing of artwork for the elementary and upper levels.
